£50 Accumulator Challenge!

We are looking for local businesses, schools and groups to battle it out in
Maidstone Mencap’s Magnificent £50 Accumulator Challenge!

We challenge you to make as much money as you can from £50!.
50 Accumulator Challenge
The accumulator challenge is a fun-filled campaign where local businesses will compete against each other (in the best team spirit!) to raise money for our fabulous charity. Each business will be given a starting budget of £50 and will have from 1st May to 30th June 2017 to increase it by as much as possible! This can be done by lots of little events, or one big one…it’s up to you!

This is a great team-building event…with a bit of friendly rivalry on the side! You can enter more than one team if you wish to create some healthy competition amongst yourselves.

Maidstone Mencap Charitable Trust Ltd is a local Kent charity, established over 40 years ago, which supports children and young adults with a learning difficulty or disability. We pride ourselves on making a positive difference to our service users and their families, by way of a Playschool and social clubs (Junior Gateway, Youth Club, and Holiday Clubs during the Easter and Summer holidays).

We REALLY need your help!
We have recently had extensive repairs undertaken on our premises (a 150 year old church building in Mote Park) at a considerable cost. The outlay for these essential repairs has depleted our much needed funds and we are calling on you, our local businesses, to support us in raising funds which will enable us to continue running our greatly valued services.

Help us raise awareness of our amazing services and this Accumulator Challenge, as well as raising awareness for your own business, by taking pictures of your event and emailing them to me. They will be displayed on our Facebook page and website!

Timeline of events

Completed applications to be submitted by Friday 21st April

You will receive the starter fund of £50 by bank transfer by Friday 28th April

The challenge will run from 1st May to 30th June 2017

Monies to be declared and submitted to me by Friday 7 July. If you feel like celebrating with us, come along to our premises on Friday 14 July at 10am for the Winners Ceremony with refreshments! We hope to have some local press attend.
